A Letter To Sophia From Daddy

Hey there sweetheart!

Congratulations on finding your letter from daddy.

I hope you are healthy, happy and keeping up the good work at school

Well I thought it might be fun to write you a little letter here for a few reasons:

• To let you know what I’ve been up to
• You can understand what Daddy does in the South Island for work
• Let you know that I love you to pieces & always thinking of you
  

Life In The Garden City Christchurch

So first off a bit about Christchurch. Since you can’t come down here just yet, I thought I’d bring a little bit of Christchurch to you. Christchurch is the biggest city in the South Island,  and second biggest in New Zealand.

It is nearly the size of 9 Wanganuis!

Christchurch is a really pretty city, with lots of parks, gardens and tree laden streets.

A river flows right through the centre of the city. This is how everyone gets around down here… by boat.

Just kidding. . . we ride donkeys.

This is where I live, a small but cozy place right next to a huge park.

My place is also close to where I currently work, a company called HairyLemon.

Daddy’s Work

At hairyLemon I help make people’s websites show up when you do searches on Google. Just like you did to find this letter from Dad

Lets say for example, you had a website where you sold cute little kittens:

If you wanted to sell more cute little kittens, you would hire someone like me. I would make your website show up when people searched for maybe something like: “buy cute little kittens”

The end result would mean you sold a lot more cute little kittens, because people could find your website

Recently hairyLemon sent me over to Australia to learn more about what I do. (It’s called SEO by the way )

We stayed in a city called Sydney which was very nice, but it was far far too hot. Sydney is also too far away from you.

Always Remember

So for now I’ll be in Christchurch for a little while longer. I hope you can come visit me someday. We have nice beaches here in Christchurch, but the water is a bit colder…

…not that cold water ever seems to bother you!

So even though I’m far away from you remember, I love you with all my heart and always thinking of you Sophia.

   Hey Sophia, your dad is really cool guy and works really hard. When you come and visit his work one day, we have a fridge full of lemonade, coke and fruit juice. I’ll let you have any drinks you want…just like your dad.
